Library Volunteer Services

Volunteering at Helen Hall Library is a great way to show your support for your community. Volunteer experience looks great on applications for jobs, scholarships, and college! Teen volunteers help HHL staff by shelving materials, organizing collections, and preparing crafts for programs. Other, unique tasks may be asked of teens.

HHL accepts teens over the age of 13. Special consideration will be made for 12 year old teens interested in volunteering. Anyone under the age of 12 will not be allowed to volunteer at HHL unless their service is coordinated through their school. Not all applicants will be accepted as volunteers.

For more information call 281-554-1133 or email Sheldon Freeman.

Helen Hall Library welcomes all adults interested in volunteering. “Adults” are considered anyone 18 years of age or older, but there is no maximum age for adult volunteers! Adult volunteer tasks are similar to the tasks asked of teens but they may require more attention to detail.

*Please note that there are separate and different applications for teens and adults.
