Michael Kramm grew up in League City, graduating from Clear Creek High School before serving in the United States Navy. He began his career with the City of League City as a police officer in 1993. Kramm promoted through the ranks and was appointed Police Chief in 2012, where he served through 2017. Having a passion to build on professionalism and education within the Police Department, Kramm established and staffed a Training Unit, and began the process to attain recognized status for the department as a Texas Police Chiefs Association best practices agency.
Education & Certifications
He holds several certifications, including Master Peace Officer, and is an adjunct instructor at Alvin Community College, Sam Houston State University, and the ALERRT Center through Texas State University.
Kramm earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from LeTourneau University, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Houston - Clear Lake, and is a graduate of the F.B.I. National Academy (248).
